Steven M. Zellers, D.C.
Dr. Zellers has practiced at Kulp Chiropractic since July 2007 after graduating from New York Chiropractic College. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, and especially likes treating families. Dr. Zellers also has advanced postgraduate training in chiropractic rehabilitation, and particularly enjoys treating athletes recovering from injury or looking to improve their performance. He has recently completed a three part course on functional spinal assessment and rehabilitation.
Dr. Zellers is a native of the Reading area, graduating from Wilson High School, and later from Penn State with a B.S. in Exercise Science. He worked at the Colonial Hills and Flying Hills fitness centers for over a year before moving to the Atlantic City area. While living there he worked as a cardiac rehabilitation therapist for nearly six and a half years. Dr. Zellers enjoyed working with patients there and helping people improve their quality of life. It was his passion for helping people that drove him to seek other avenues to be able to help more people of various age groups. Upon discovering chiropractic he immediately knew this was how he wanted to help people.
While at NYCC, Dr. Zellers was a member of the honors fraternity, was selected for a competitive radiology rotation, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He studied several different techniques of muscle therapy which he uses in conjunction with spinal adjustments and rehabilitative exercises in patient treatments today.
Since beginning practice at Kulp Chiropractic, Dr. Zellers has helped patients with all types of pain. Aside from more common neck and low back pain, he has had a lot of success treating patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Plantar Fasciitis, hip pain, and frequent headaches. Dr. Zellers enjoys speaking to the public about chiropractic, and has done so at Pagoda Pacers and Flying Dutchman club meetings as well as to countless healthfairs. He welcomes any opportunity to speak to people about how chiropractic can help them, whether in a public setting or in a workplace environment.
